never, never, never...

PUT ANYTHING UP YOUR NOSE!!!!!!!!
This was the lesson learned this morning.
Gabriel put a huge bead up his nose, ohhhhhh
(big sigh from mama). Thankfully he could blow
it out himself. I could tell that my attempt
with the tweezers was not going to work, so I
asked him to keep blowing and finally it came
out. Since Joshua has the van at work, it would have
been interesting to find a willing neighbor to
take us to an emergency extract appointment, ha!
We discussed again the importance of NEVER PUTTING
ANYTHING UP YOUR NOSE OR IN YOUR EAR!!!! I think
he got it this time. Never a dull moment around
here.

Oh My! Thank goodness he was able to blow it out. In Dec of last year we had to take Ronnie to the E.R. he had made a reindeer at school and they used little tiny bells. Well needless to say one was in his ear. I couldn't get it out. The Dr's in the E.R. we having a time of getting it out. He would not sit still while they were trying to get it out. His ears are real sensitive. They were talking of taking him to surgery to get it out. I thought I'm not going to do this. I asked him where would you like to go after we leave here. He said Dairy Queen. I told him that I would take hima d get him his favorite a Vanilla shake if he sat still so that they could get this out. He did but the screams and tears running down his face made me feel so bad for him I started to tear up but I knew I couldn't do that in front of him. I told him to pray and ask God and the Angels to le the Dr's get this out and he promised that he would not try to listen for bells anymore. It was so cute and made me laugh. Needless to say it came out and I had to buy a med size Vanilla Shake. He told me that he would not do this again. I explained to him that if God wanted us to have things in our ears and up our nose he would have put them there. He turned around and asked me if God put the earring hole in my ears? Kids are so smart! Anyway after my long story. Congrats on another boy and I hope that things are going well for you all and I hope that your back pains get better! Talk to you all later.
